First blushes are that the major advertisers are finally getting the message that successful messaging is about building trust with your core audience and consumer. This was proven by the focus on multi platform approach taken by the major players.
The message by the majors was much more about "communicate with us" let us know what you are thinking... than ever before. This is good news for new and struggling brands on a budget since it proves the effectiveness of cost effective media as an entry level and beyond approach towards building customer base. !
